Under the Sun

Theodore Payne Foundation is in SUN VALLEY, California!

It’s hot, and it’s sunny. Our native plants love it, but it can be a bit hard on people and on energy bills. When the temperature hit 116º in June, we knew we needed to act.

Help us raise matching funds for solar panels on our headquarters building and air conditioning in our new classroom. The panels will meet our entire headquarters' energy demand and, with AC in our fine new classroom, more people will learn about native plants throughout the year. It's a perfect balance of hot and cool.

Our goal: $30,000 by Labor Day, but we have a good head start.

The first $10,000 in donations will be matched dollar for dollar by a challenge grant from two generous TPF supporters! If we don't raise the funds, we won't get the match. (You know how this works!)

California native plants run on solar power and so should we.

Every dollar counts! Donate today! THANK YOU!
